“ Giovanni's was a fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend starting with the mussels, which were some of the largest I've ever seen and came in a delicious creamy sauce. Dipping the toasted garlic bread into the remaining sauce was a treat. The fish and chips were a mixed bag - the fish was fantastic, with a crispy batter and flaky texture, while the mushy peas, tartar sauce, and mayonnaise were also great. However, the chips could have been crispier and more seasoned. The draft beer was expensive but tasty, and the cocktails and desserts were fantastic as well. The only drawback was the restaurant's modern open-plan design, which made it difficult to hold a conversation when it was busy due to limited noise dampening. Despite this, Giovanni's offers a five-star experience. ”

“ Great service last night as I and a friend met up for a well needed catch up and was a half way house between our locations. Food was great as was the service. The cheesy garlic bread was excellent as was the Calabrese Pizza. Will absolutely return. Great value too! ”

We could not thank our server Beth enough. She was on the ball the full night, foreseeing anything we may need and being really friendly. She is a credit to your establishment. “ Excellent Sunday Lunch! Had a really lovely first visit for lunch, and most excellent value too. Prawn Cocktail was delicious, and the extra sauce i asked for was no problem. The Chicken Stroganoff was very tasty and a healthy portion...rare these days. Lovely young staff who were efficient, friendly and obliging. The Ladies Loo was spotless and had my favourite Scottish Hand Wash and Lotion. Cannot wait to return! ”
